No accounts or personal profiles
BuildGauge currently does not ask for a name, email address, mailing address, payment information, or account. Advisor answers are used in the browser to generate a recommendation and are not submitted through a BuildGauge account system.
Analytics preparation
The application exposes vendor-neutral events for actions such as starting an advisor, generating a result, viewing a guide, or clicking a configured retailer link. No production analytics provider is currently configured by BuildGauge. Events are designed without personal identifiers.
Campaign context
If present in the page URL, non-personal UTM source, medium, and campaign parameters can be included with a browser event so future first-party traffic reporting can distinguish general campaign sources. BuildGauge does not use these parameters to identify a person.
External links
A retailer or manufacturer link takes you to another website governed by its own privacy practices. BuildGauge does not receive payment details entered on an external retailer site.
Future changes
If production analytics, accounts, saved recommendations, or other data services are enabled later, this notice should be updated before launch of that capability.
